This is how a school team turns up at a gala looking like a team, and how a club stops paying import prices for branded kit. Custom caps start at 50 per club logo; team hoodies have no minimum. Bulk pricing depends on the quantity and the logo, which is exactly what the enquiry works out.

Which colours should we actually order?

The samples are in and the bulk order has a minimum of 288 units per colour — which means every colour we choose, we are stuck with. Tell us which ones you would buy and it genuinely changes what gets ordered.

Why I Built Waterdaddy

Swimming in South Africa deserves better. I built Waterdaddy to make that happen.

There is so much more to swimming than a price tag. I started Waterdaddy Performance because I saw a gap — serious swimmers in South Africa wanting top-of-the-range performance gear but facing massive import costs and limited access to the kind of equipment that overseas athletes take for granted.

Think about that feeling of new shoes making you run faster — that's the energy I want to bring to swimming. Gear that gives you that edge, that confidence, that feeling of being ready to compete at the highest level.

The Swim Gear Marketplace

Buy and sell pre-loved swimming gear safely. Every sale runs through Waterdaddy — buyers and sellers never exchange details, money is held until the item arrives, and nobody gets scammed.

Buyer Pays Waterdaddy

The buyer orders on this site and pays Waterdaddy through a secure payment link — not the seller. We keep the payment until the item has arrived.

We Collect From The Seller

We notify the seller and book Courier Guy to collect from their address and deliver to the buyer. We generate the waybill — the two never exchange addresses. Both are notified at collection and at delivery.

Buyer Confirms → Seller Paid

The buyer has 48 hours from delivery to tell us on WhatsApp or email if something is wrong. If not, the order closes and the seller is paid — EFT in 1–3 business days, or store credit straight away.

How the weeks unlock — read before you buyA new week at 00:00 every 7 days · at least one renewal is needed

Week 1 opens the moment you buy. Each next week opens at 00:00 on the same weekday — buy on a Wednesday, at any time, and Week 2 opens at 00:00 the next Wednesday, so it is there for your first swim that day. Weeks you have already unlocked stay open.

You pay monthly, on the date you bought, and each payment covers you to the end of that date the next month — buy on 10 October, renew on 10 November. One paid month opens four or five weeks. If a renewal is not paid, every week locks at 00:00 the day after and reopens the moment you pay.

The shortest programme is eight weeks, so at least one renewal is always needed to finish one. That is how the product works, and we would rather you knew now than found out later.

If your subscription lapses, every week locks — including weeks you had already unlocked. Nothing is deleted. Renew and all of them reopen, plus the next one, and it goes back to one a week.

What a coach contact isOne problem solved, not one message

One problem solved, not one message. It opens when you bring us something — a question, a video, something that is not working — and it stays open until it is explained and corrected. Messages, replies, a video review and an agreed call all count as the same single contact. A follow-up about the same problem never burns a second one.

Improve: two a month, they do not roll over. You can message any hour, but a message sent outside Mon–Fri 09:00–16:00 or Sat 09:00–12:00 reaches the coach at 08:00 the next business day. Elite and Custom: unlimited, any hour, no hold.

These are launch prices. We are absorbing the card-payment charges and holding the price down while we get going — the standard prices are R315, R470, R830 and R1,870. We will give you at least one full billing cycle's notice before that changes, and you keep the price you signed up at until then.
